Terms and conditions about our services

Introduction

Please read these booking terms carefully.

You will be asked to expressly agree to these booking terms during your transportation booking process on our website. The only language in which we provide these booking terms is English. Interpretation

  • “CLIENT” means the person who accepts a quotation or offer of the provider for the sale of service or whose order for the services is accepted by the provider;
  • “PROVIDER” means Blue Arrow Executive Car Service Ltd, licensed by the Public Carriage Office Licence No: 08282/01/01.
  • “THE CONTRACT” means the contract for the provision of ground transfer services under these Conditions;
  • “SERVICES” mean the services of ground transport including any instalment of the service or any multiple services which the provider is to supply in accordance with these conditions;

Any reference in these conditions to a regulations or a provision of a regulations shall be construed as an reference to that regulations or provision as amended, re-enacted or extended at the relevant time. The interpretations in these conditions are for convenience only and shall not affect their interpretation.

Before booking a journey with us you are requested to read and accept the terms below.

(a) The provider shall sell the terms of engagement service in accordance with any quotation or offer to the provider which is accepted and agreed as the client, or any reservation of the client which is accepted by the provider, subject in either case to these conditions, which shall govern the contract to the exclusion of any other terms and conditions, or any such reservation is made or interpretation by the client.

Payments

The provider accepts payments by way of cash, debit or credit cards. We will carry out work on account for individual or companies (the applicants) subject to status. We may require in the first instance payment in advance before allowing account facilities. As a condition of opening an account with us the applicant will agree to pay all invoices issued by us within 15 days from the date of invoice.

All account invoices are subject to 10% administration charge. Rates quoted are exclusive of gratuity, VAT, car parking and telephone charges. Credit/ Debit cards payment are subject to 10% surcharges on all transaction plus VAT. The provider will supply VAT receipts upon request by post or email, as required. Transfer rates are for direct journeys, point-to-point to or from London postal codes and airports; waiting time is not included and will be charged at the standard hourly rate. We allow forty minutes free waiting at airports after landing, forty minutes free waiting at ports and ten minutes free waiting time at all other pickups. There is a 50% surcharge on bookings on public holidays (except Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year Eve and New Years Day where a 100% surcharge applies).

Evening hire rates are charged on hires commencing between 18:00 and 00:00 UK time.

Journeys are quoted travelling via the shortest route. Any deviation from this, for example by way of client request, the provider reserves the right to charge the client for any extra mileage and/or time.

We reserve the right to apply a surcharge to: Out-of-area to out-of-area journeys, journeys out of standard hours, periods of extreme weather or road conditions A client’s failure to show up after all reasonable efforts have been made by the provider to coordinate with the client; 100% charge. Where a client or passenger gives incorrect information regarding a pickup place or time or other relevant detail that results in a cost to our driver, the client may be liable for a cancellation charges; Cancellations at notice of less than half an hour will be charged 100%. All bookings are confirmed by the payment in advance of a 50% deposit. The balance is due seven days prior to the date of hire except for the wedding car hire where the final payment will be taken thirty days prior the event.

 

Damage / Soiling

Any malicious damage or deliberate breakages or carelessness resulting in damage to the vehicle will be charged directly to the person who placed the booking. Any passenger causing excessive soiling inside the vehicle will be charged for valeting of the vehicle. Excessive soiling is when the car is unusable for the next client and cannot be easily recertified be the chauffeur with equipment provided in the vehicle. Any sickness or vomiting will charge for valeting £150.00 and £200.00 respectively for the driver’s loss of earning.

 

Licensing / Insurance

The provider is a licensed operator and has full private hire insurance. We will not carry more passengers than our insurance or licensing allows.

 

Smoking / Food / Drink

The provider has a no-smoking policy to protect our chauffeurs’ health and our liabilities in line with health and safety legislation and the law. Consuming food and drink is not allowed in the vehicle.

 

Breakdown

Our vehicles are serviced and maintained to the highest level. Every effort will be made to get you to your destination on time, but we are not liable for any loss due to delays by external factors, such as traffic jams, road works, road closures, diversions, extreme weather condition or collisions caused by other parties on the journey. In the unfortunate event of breakdown, the provider cannot be held responsible, but every effort will be made to allow you to continue with your journey.

Small children

We neither provide nor assist in the fitting of child seat or restraints. It is the adult passenger’s entire responsibilities to make sure any children in their care are properly secured.

 

General Terms

We will endeavour to provide the vehicle requested by you. In the unlikely event that we are unable to do so, we reserve the right to provide a substitute vehicle of similar type. No contract will come into force between you and us unless and until we accept your order in accordance with the procedure detailed below.

In order to enter into a contract to avail our ground transportation services advertised on this website, you will need to take the following steps:

  • You fill the journey requirements on quotation page and select relevant vehicle and proceed to the check out.
  • After receiving your request we will send you the confirmation of your booking.
  • As you receive our confirmation, you have to be agreed our quote and term and conditions. Then ring to Blue Arrow Executive Car Service Ltd on +44 (0) 207 0999 777, provide the credit/ debit card details to pay the quoted price.
  • If you are booking a cash job you still need to provide the credit / debit cards details. In case of no show Blue Arrow Executive Car Service Ltd may charge full journey payment with any extra cost e.g. parking or waiting time.
  • In case of cash booking we may check your credit/ debit card details to check the accuracy of the booking.
We reserve the right to change the terms without any notice. Any new changes will be implemented immediately after being published.

By supplying your e-mail address you permit Blue Arrow Executive Car Service to contact you via e-mail. We will fully comply with the Data Protection Act. The provider will keep lost property at their office, and will endeavour to return any lost goods left in our vehicles or sub contracted vehicle(s) to the customer. If items are requested to be posted, we may pass on postage and packaging charges to the client. The provider and its chauffeurs have the right to refuse to carry any passenger who is thought to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs and whose behaviour poses a threat either to the chauffeur, the vehicle or any other passenger(s). The provider or it’s contracted or sub contracted have the right to refuse any passenger or to make the journey due to the passenger having excess luggage which would result in the vehicle being unsafe whilst in motion. If you have more than seven suitcases then please book more vehicles according to your requirement. We will not be liable to you in respect of any losses arising out of a force major event. We are not liable damages to your computer, software, hard drive or business to use our website.

 

Refund

If a wedding booking is cancelled within three months from the start of the period of hire, the deposit will be fully refundable. If a wedding booking is cancelled within two months from the start of the period of hire, a 50% charge will be payable by the customer. If wedding booking is cancel within one month from the start of a hire, the full hire amount will still be charged to the customer.

 

Cancellation

Blue Arrow Executive Car Service request a minimum of 48 hours notice for any online booking.
